Tiramisu is a coffee-flavored Italian dessert. It is often round in shape and is assembled in glasses to showcase its various layers. This rich yellowish creamy dessert has a subtle sweetness with the right bitterness. Various countries have their own versions of this classy dessert. More often, these layers consist of a whipped mixture of eggs and sugar. But to the people extremely kind to the animals out there, this blog is specially for you. So stop whatever you’re doing and come check this out!
Serves 2-3 people
Preparation time: 30-40 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Baking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients for egg-less tiramisu:
1 egg-less vanilla sponge cake (6-7 inch)
8 tablespoons sugar and 3 tablespoon of icing sugar
1 tablespoon instant coffee powder
Mascarpone cheese (can be substituted by cream cheese)
3 tablespoon whipped cream
3 tablespoon cocoa powder
¼ cup rum

Methods:
Slice the vanilla sponge cake horizontally into two equal layers.
Cut the top layer of the sponge cake into long fingers and toast these cake fingers in a preheated oven at 320°F for 10 minutes.
Remove it from the oven and let it cool.
Mix the whipped cream and icing sugar in a bowl and keep it aside.

5. Mix rum and sugar on a slow flame. Once the sugar dissolves, remove it from the flame and let it cool completely.
6. Add the cream cheese to this and mix well.
7. Add the beaten whipped cream to this mixture.
8. Add 3 tablespoon sugar, 1 cup warm water to the instant coffee powder for making a coffee soaking syrup.
9. Keep the cake on a cake tin and sprinkle 3/4th of the coffee soaking syrup on top of the cake uniformly.
10. Pour the beaten whipped cream mixture over the top and the sides of the cake and refrigerate it for 35 minutes.
11. Dip the toasted cake fingers in the leftover coffee soaking syrup for 2 minutes.
12. Put the soaked cake fingers over the cream cheese layer and top it with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
13. Refrigerate till the tiramisu sets (max 4 hours
