MARVELous Desserts!

Ever wondered that your favourite marvel characters can be related to some of the best desserts in the world? This week I thought of writing on two of the best things in the world- Marvel and Desserts! You will see which dessert best suits your favourite Marvel character.

1) Black Widow

Black Widow is not just an eye-candy. She is not there to serve the male gaze. She demands the same level of respect which Ironman and Spiderman demand. Yes, she is sensuous but if that’s all you can see, then you surely have a problem. Yes, she is not physically as strong as Thor or The Hulk after all she is a human. But she has got more field experience than any of them. It is her endurance which separates her from the rest.

I relate this young lady to DEATH BY CHOCOLATE CAKE. This sinfully rakish dessert begins with three delectable layers of chocolate cake slathered in rich chocolate buttercream. It is as fancy and intense like Black Widow.

2) Spider-Man

Unlike other superheroes, Spider-man is just a young, regular kid who wasn’t blessed with any supernatural powers from birth. This ordinary kid got an opportunity to be great and therefore, he dwelled on it. He is like you and me who has great responsibilities entrusted on his shoulders. Simple like chocolate bars, young like Oreo and the sticky like caramel cream made me relate him to Salted Caramel Chocolate Oreo Bars.

3) The Hulk

There’s no limit to his strength! The Hulk doesn't really get tired. As long as whatever he's angry at is still making him angry, he will keep going. 4) Ironman

He is the coolest superhero! With his technological innovations, he has always been successful in protecting Earth against threats. He studied hard, worked hard which ultimately paid off. I relate this engineer with Cast Iron Peach Crostata. It’s basically all about the “rustic” look.

5) Captain America

How can one forget this first Avenger? This great cinematic superhero always stood for what is right even though it makes him less popular. He is defined by a mindset and philosophy which is quite old fashion as he is a man out of time. Frozen for nearly 70 years, I related him with the coldest dessert- Raspberry Sorbet!
